Douglas R. Peterson

Douglas Peterson has practiced law in the estate planning, probate, trust, real estate and corporate field since 1984. His primary areas of practice include estate planning, probate, trust and elder law. He continues to serve as legal advisor to several local businesses. He is a third generation Albert Lea attorney.

Mr. Peterson has served on several community organizations, including the Board of Directors of the Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce, where he also served a term as Chairman of the Board; the St. John's Lutheran Home Foundation Board of Trustees; his local church stewardship committee; a volunteer attorney for Southern Minnesota Legal Services; and he regularly teaches an estate planning course for Albert Lea Community Education.
